Purchasing Prints
Photo Quality and Picture Cropping
All photographic prints available to purchase are available in a variety of sizes. They are high quality prints produced with a gloss finish. Please note: all photo's will be printed with a white border around the edge of the image for additional visual emphasis and mounting purposes. This results in the finished printed image being smaller than the quoted printed size ie. A 7x5" print will be printed onto 7x5" inch photographic paper but the resulting image will be smaller at approximately 6x4" (Please note: this is only an example and the finished print size will vary depending upon the chosen image and it's aspect ratio). Images are susceptible to cropping in the finished print depending upon the image and the requested print size. This is due to the varying aspect ratios of the photographs and print sizes.
Payment Methods
Payment of your purchase is made via a 3rd party credit card transaction company, please refer to www.paypal.co.uk for their specific usage agreements and terms and conditions if you have any concerns.The total order cost will be charged to your credit or debit card at the time the order is made. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron, American Express, Maestro/Switch, Solo and PayPal. All payment transactions are encrypted and conducted over Paypals secure servers. Please note that we are under no obligation to accept any order placed by you and we will not be treated as having accepted any such order until you have received confirmation from us that we have done so. This confirmation will be by e-mail.
Postage Charges + Delivery
There is a flat rate delivery charge of £2.95. We use first class post by default for UK orders up to 2Kg in weight. Any order for UK delivery over the value of £80.00 or 2Kg in weight is sent using Royal Mail Recorded Delivery service. A signature will be required upon receipt so please specify a delivery address where someone will be present.
Urgent Orders
If your order is urgent, for example a present then you may wish to make us aware of this and we will try to process your order as quickly as possible. When making your payment via Paypal, please state within the 'Add instructions to seller' entry box that you'd like us to prioritise your order if possible. Please still allow a minimum of 10 days for delivery though as we cannot always guarantee to be able to prioritise your order.
Turnaround Times
Most print orders are dispatched within 3 working days of placing your order, during busy periods though this may be up to 10 working days. Most UK customers will receive their order next morning following dispatch. Larger orders and those with special instructions may require more time. Canvas or custom print requests will require longer, please allow up to 28 days of placing your order for delivery of these items. Unfortunately we cannot accept responsibility for delays by the Royal Mail. However, if two weeks after dispatch the order has not been received we will re-print and re-dispatch at no cost to the customer. Longer grace periods apply for international destinations.
Refund policy
In the unlikely event that we are not able to fulfill your order then you will receive a full refund to your credit or debit card. If there is an error in fulfillment of your order then please contact us and we will correct the error or refund as necessary. We reserve the right to request return of print or gift items before a refund will be issued.

Introduction

2) The web site provides access to a service that may be used in accordance with the following terms.
The service includes:
1) The ability to view digital images of specific events via a secure username and password entry system that have been uploaded to the web site by us.
2) The ability to order and purchase prints of digital images that have been uploaded to the web site by us.
3) These terms govern the relationship between you and us. The web site (and the services provided through the web site) can only be used if you agree to these terms. You may only use the web site in accordance with these terms.
1. Only persons aged eighteen years or over may agree to these terms and use the web site or the services offered through the web site.
2. We may modify these terms at any time. We will post the modified terms on the web site. The modified terms will come into effect as soon as they are posted on the web site and use of the web site (or of any services provided through the web site) after that point will be subject to the modified terms.
What you are allowed to do:
1. You may access any part of the web site that is not password protected. Access to some parts of the site is only available if you have a valid username and password. You may not access these areas without a valid username and password.
2. You may print off one copy per visit of any individual page or part of a page of the web site for your own personal use.
What you are not allowed to do:
1. You are not allowed to copy (whether by printing off onto paper, storing on disk or in any other way), distribute (including distributing copies), alter or tamper with in any way or otherwise use any material contained in the web site except as set out under "what you are allowed to do"
2. You are not allowed to use the web site (or to copy or use any material from the web site) for any commercial purpose other than to conduct a commercial transaction with Ashborne Photographic.
3. You are not allowed to remove any copyright, trade mark or any other intellectual property notices contained in the original material from any material copied or printed off from the web site.
4. You must keep your username and password provided by us to you secure at all times. You will be responsible for any damage caused by unauthorised access resulting from your failure to keep the username and password secure.
5. We may at our discretion contact law enforcement authorities if we believe that anything unlawful is occurring or has occurred in relation to the web site. We may provide copies of any relevant evidence/material to the law enforcement authorities and in that connection may also give them access to any personal data that is held by us.
6. We may refuse to provide any further services to anyone who breaches these terms.
7. You will indemnify us and our officers and employees against any action, claim, damages, liability, costs and expenses arising out of any use by you of this web site in breach of these terms.

1. We may change the format and content of the web site (or any products or services offered by this web site) at any time.

1. Once you have placed an order for any goods or services via this web site, the order will not be treated as having been accepted until you receive confirmation from us that this is the case. This confirmation may be by email or post.

3. To maintain continuity of service we reserve the right to use alternative photographic paper products in the production of prints, to any stated on the web-site.

1. Complaints or claims must be notified to us within twenty eight days of receipt of goods, or in the case of non-delivery, in a reasonable time after the goods were expected to arrive.

Law and jurisdiction
1. These terms (and the provision of goods and services by us) are governed by and to be interpreted in accordance with English law. In the event of any dispute arising in relation of these terms or in relation to the provision of any goods and services by us the English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over such dispute.
